May 7, 2025. Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Rashed Alnuaimi performed at the announcement ceremony for Disneyland Abu Dhabi, Disney's first theme park in the Middle East. The evening's programme featured pianist Lang Lang, West End vocalist Kerry Ellis, Disney on Broadway's Sonya Balsara, and a 100-member orchestra conducted by Grammy-winning Steve Sidwell. A 9,000-drone display accompanied the production. Attendees included Disney CEO Bob Iger, Naomi Campbell, Tyrese Gibson, and Nancy Ajram. Rashed's role was to provide the cultural anchor within a global entertainment production, performing in both Arabic and English for a room that required both.
